New Visitor

While I was busy trying to get as many starlings in one photo as possible (dozens have been visiting the past couple of days), I spotted the familiar cocked up tail of a bird about as far away as it could be. It could have been a young sparrow with a loose feather, and I'm short sighted, but I hoped it was a wren.

A quick change of lens confirmed my suspicions. It didn't fly down my side but had a look. I think it flew down next door and probably went foraging in the hedge the other side.

The first time I've seen a wren here.
